Nearly 100 people gathered at the intersection of Routes 101 and 202 on Saturday for a “Let Freedom Ring” rally celebrating the 250th anniversary of the Declaration of Independence.

While the recorded chimes of the Liberty Bell played during the event were difficult to hear over passing traffic, organizers found complete success distributing ice-cold red, white and blue popsicles to the crowd.
