“Adam’s Apple,” a documentary by Peterborough mother-son filmmaking duo Amy Jenkins and Adam Sieswerda, will have its New England premiere at the Boston Independent Film Festival on April 27, and has been praised for its depiction of Sieswerda’s journey as a trans teenager.
