Independent candidate Tim Coffin has submitted signatures well above the required threshold to qualify for the November ballot in the New Hampshire State Representative District 27 race, pending verification by election officials.

Coffin’s campaign marked the milestone at a house party on Sunday, drawing residents from Deering and Francestown to officially launch his bid for office. The high turnout pushed his petition signature count past the state’s requirement for independent candidates.

Centering his platform on nonpartisan governance, Coffin has launched a “listening tour” across both communities, pledging responsive and genuine constituent representation.

With the signature threshold met, the campaign now shifts its focus toward the general election. Coffin aims to continue building a cross-party coalition of Democrats, Republicans and Independents ahead of November.
