I have been a selectman in Wilton for the past three years. It has been a very interesting experience; I have learned more about Wilton and the operation of town government in New Hampshire than I ever imagined.

I would like to continue my service as a Wilton selectman, because I think there is more work left to do. I have focused on economic development for the last two years. Economic development can mean many things, but for Wilton, it should include bringing new businesses to town that can provide services and employment and increase the tax base. This is not an easy task, since every town in New Hampshire would like to improve its economy, but it is work we must do if Wilton is going to continue to prosper. We also need to bring more young workers to Wilton to augment our aging workforce.

I have worked on many other issues for Wilton, too many to list in this short profile.

I am also one of three Wilton water commissioners, and am starting my third term as state representative for Hillsborough District 4, which includes Wilton. As part of my state rep role, I serve as a director of the New Hampshire Business Finance Authority and on the Governorโ€™s Council on Advanced Manufacturing and Education.

I thank the voters for electing me to all these positions, and would like to continue to serve the people of Wilton.

I would appreciate your vote.
