First responders from multiple Monadnock region towns responded to a fatal crash involving a school bus from Monadnock Regional School District and a pickup truck in Marlborough at 7:30 a.m. Friday.
According to multiple reports, the driver of the pickup was killed at the scene.
Monadnock Regional School District has reported that all students are safe. According to state police, the bus driver was taken to Cheshire Medical Center.
The crash, which is believed to have been a head-on collision, occurred near Webb Depot Road and State Route 12 in Marlborough.
The bus, which was carrying 13 students, was headed to Monadnock Middle School.
State Police have announced that Route 12 in Marlborough is currently closed while the scene is under investigation.
