The League of Women Voters of New Hampshire will host a public presentation on the impact of the Free State Project at 6 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 1, at the Peterborough Town Library.
Former New Hampshire State Senator Jeanne Dietsch will lead the discussion, sharing findings from her research into the Free State Project’s activities and affiliations across state, county, and local politics. Dietsch, a former tech entrepreneur, served one term in the state Senate and began researching the movement in 2020.
The presentation will examine how the libertarian movement has recruited followers to move to the state since 2003, run for public office, and advance libertarian policies. The event is free and open to voters and citizens of all political parties.
