Downtown Peterborough was transformed into a vibrant outdoor gallery on Saturday, July 4, as the town hosted its 10th annual Art in the Parks festival.

Running from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., the milestone event showcased the creations of more than 50 regional artists across Putnam Park and Depot Park. In addition to browsing the diverse artwork, attendees enjoyed live music performances and explored a bustling farmers market set up throughout Depot Square.
Organizers had prepared a contingency plan to postpone the festivities to Sunday, July 5, in the event of inclement weather, but the outdoor celebration went off as scheduled on Saturday.
The community event was entirely free, accessible, and open to the public, featuring ample free parking for visitors. The 10th annual festival was made possible through corporate sponsorships from Catlin Architecture, Orbis Wealth Management, and W.G. Ellercamp.
