Nearly 80 people took part in Greenfield’s inaugural Fourth of July Sparkler Sprint 5K Run/Walk, which started and finished at the track at Oak Park.

Matthew Seitz was the first-place male finisher, and Kristen Seitz was the first-place female finisher.

The race was sponsored by the Town of Greenfield July 4 Committee and organized by Ella Cademartori, director of Stephenson Memorial Library, and Kayla Kokal, chair of the Greenfield Recreation Department, along with volunteers from the July 4 committee.
