Traditional Irish-American band JD and the Stonemasons will perform a free outdoor concert on Sunday, July 12, from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m. as part of the Francestown Old Meeting House “Sundays at 4” series.
The New Hampshire-based trio, which includes fiddle player JD Nadeau, guitarist David Counts and percussionist Peter Yost, is known for its energetic performances of traditional Irish tunes, folk songs and sea shanties. The band recently released its fourth full-length album, “Westward,” which blends Celtic roots with American bluegrass, gospel and blues.
Attendees are encouraged to bring picnics, lawn chairs or blankets to the Old Meeting House lawn. In the event of rain, the performance will move indoors. For more information, visit the Francestown Old Meeting House website.
