ConVal Community Dollars for Scholars awarded eight scholarships to members of the ConVal High School Class of 2026, recognizing students who have demonstrated determination in pursuing post-secondary education despite financial and personal challenges.
The organization’s highest honor, the $15,000 John F. Vance Memorial Scholarship, was awarded to Alida Brissette, who plans to study psychology at Keene State College.
Two $13,000 PJ O’Rourke Memorial Scholarships were awarded to Liam Armstrong, who will study political science at Saint Anselm College, and Charley Pyle-Cunningham, who plans to study industrial engineering at North Carolina State University.
ConVal Community Dollars for Scholars also awarded two general scholarships of $10,000 each. Recipients were Cayden Sullivan, who will study forensic science at Husson University, and Nora Eliopoulos, who will pursue sports event management at Elon University.
Three $5,000 Mary Lou O’Neal Memorial Scholarships were awarded to students pursuing technical, licensing or community college programs. Recipients were Bryanna Ouellette, who will study nursing at Galen College of Nursing; Kendall Harris, who will study radiology at New Hampshire Technical Institute; and Liam Webb, who will study HVAC systems at Manchester Community College.
ConVal Community Dollars for Scholars provides scholarships to students in the ConVal School District who may otherwise face barriers to higher education due to financial hardship or personal challenges. The organization is affiliated with Scholarship America, a national scholarship network.
