The Crowe family and the Steven W. Crowe Foundation recently donated a new scoreboard to the Peterborough Community Center. The donation builds on the foundation’s previous gifts of scoreboards for the gym and playing field at South Meadow School.
This summer, the foundation also donated a new flagpole to the Hancock Historical Society.
In addition to capital gifts, the organization maintains ongoing community programs across the region. Through its “Pete’s Treats” program – named in honor of former foundation president Peter Fontaine – the foundation supplies snacks and drinks for youth at the Avenue A Teen Center in Antrim. The foundation also hosts its “Coffee On The Crowe’s” initiative on the 11th of every month, offering free coffee and drinks to first responders and military veterans at Beepa and Lulu’s in Peterborough.
