The 30th annual Friends of the Dublin Art Colony Monadnock Art Open Studio Tour will take place Saturday through Monday, Oct. 10 to 12. The self-guided driving tour features 65 studio stops across six area towns, with some locations hosting multiple artists.

Participating artists will display fine craftwork and visual art across mediums including painting, photography, ceramics, leatherwork, woodworking, and glasswork. While some studios are open only Saturday and Sunday, others operate all three days. Outside of tour weekend, private studios are generally closed to the public without an advance appointment.

Visitors can also visit a preview exhibit at The Monadnock Center for History and Culture, located at 19 Grove St. in Peterborough, open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. daily during tour weekend. This year’s preview showcase includes a sampling of historical works by 19th-century founders of the original Dublin Art Colony – such as Joseph Lindon Smith, Abbott Thayer, and Alexander James – alongside a special exhibit titled “Women Artists of the Monadnock Region.”
