Monadnock Community Hospital will host its annual National Night Out on Aug. 4 from 5 to 8 p.m. on the hospital campus, offering a night of free, family-friendly activities designed to strengthen ties between residents and local first responders.

The evening features a variety of interactive events, demonstrations and safety resources for all ages, including:

- Family Activities: A free teddy bear clinic for young visitors, free face painting, lawn games, and a Dunk-a-Cop dunk tank.
- Community Competitions: A police versus fire donut-eating contest.
- Health & Wellness: Free hands-only CPR demonstrations, free Narcan training, health screenings, and safety information from community partner booths.
Grilled burgers and hot dogs will be available for purchase. The event will be held rain or shine, and admission is free.
