The Society for the Protection of New Hampshire Forests President Jack Savage will launch the 80th annual Amos Fortune Forum summer speaker series on July 10 at 7 p.m. in Jaffrey.

Savage will discuss long-term priorities and upcoming trends shaping local woodlands in his presentation, “Are New Hampshire’s Forests Threatened?”

Appointed as the fifth president of the 125-year-old organization in September 2019, Savage previously spent 14 years as its vice president of communications and outreach. His background includes serving as a certified tree farmer, a town moderator and planning board chair, and chair of the Moose Mountains Regional Greenways, where he helped conserve over 2,000 acres.

A video recording will be available on YouTube after the event. More information is available at www.amosfortune.org.
