Children gathered along the banks of the Souhegan River on Saturday for the Greenville Kids’ Fishing Derby, casting lines in hopes of landing the day’s biggest catch.
Barret Ryan earned the award for the largest overall catch, while Parker Newbert received recognition for the smallest overall catch.
In the 6-9 age division, October Phetsomphou won first place for trout. Connor Manning took first place in the non-trout category, and Eliana Anderson placed third.
In the 10-15 age division, Jace Kelly won first place for trout, followed by Caleb Guy in second and Wyatt Antos in third. Ryan also won first place in the non-trout category, while Emma McGee placed second and Gavin Lafortune finished third.
