Greenfield Volunteer Fire Department, Greenfield Police Department and Wilton EMS were dispatched to a three-car accident at the intersection of Forest Road and Old Bennington Road at approximately 4:30 p.m. on Sunday, July 12.
Soon after, a medic and additional ambulances were requested from Peterborough Fire and Rescue. An ambulance requested from Antrim Fire and Ambulance was canceled soon after it was requested.
There were five occupants in the three vehicles, according to Greenfield Police Chief Frank Shea.
One person had serious injuries and one person had minor injuries. Multiple people refused transport.
Based on the scene, Shea said the crash was caused by a stop sign violation.
The accident is under investigation by the Greenfield Police Department.
