Families braved cold winds on Friday night, Oct. 31 for trick or treating around the region. In Bennington, the White Birch Store hosted a costume competition and the GEP Dodge library went all out with decorations and treats. Residents young and old gathered in the village for tricks, treats and a spooky good time.

In Greenfield, Jim and Ginnie Plourde’s drawing visitors from near and far. The Plourdes, who make most of their own decorations from scratch, created the “Plourde Cemetery and Mortuary” this year.
