The ConVal football team participated in WMUR’s annual NH Tackles Hunger event to support the Peterborough Food Pantry.

On Oct. 1, team members went shopping for nonperishable food items using gift cards donated by Hannaford, Dead River Co. and the S.W.C. Foundation. Additional food donations were collected at the admission gate during home games.

In total, the team collected 750 pounds of food. Players loaded and unloaded the pantry’s van and sorted and stocked the Peterborough Food Pantry shelves.
