Savings Bank of Walpole is hosting a series of free financial education seminars led by bank team members and regional experts to help community members navigate key financial decisions.
The three-part series begins with “Estate Planning with SBW and NHTrust” on Wednesday, Sept. 30, from 5:30 to 7 p.m. at the SBW Community Room on Marlboro Street in Keene. The session covers the basics of estate planning, including wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and living wills.
On Wednesday, Oct. 7, from 5:30 to 7 p.m., the bank’s residential lending and construction teams will present “Understanding the Construction Loan Process” at Belletetes of Jaffrey, located at 51 Peterborough St. in Jaffrey. The seminar will guide prospective homebuilders through financing and steps before, during, and after a build.
The final seminar, “Building a Local Business That Lasts,” will take place on Wednesday, Nov. 4, from 8:30 to 10 a.m. at the SBW Community Room in Keene. The workshop covers the business lifecycle from idea validation to funding, followed by a Q&A with local business experts.
