The Friends of the Greenfield Community Meetinghouse held their seventh annual Oktoberfest fundraiser at Oak Park in Greenfield on Saturday, Sept. 26. The event raised funds for the ongoing repair and maintenance of Greenfield’s 1795 Meetinghouse.

The fundraiser featured live music performances by The Fretbenders and the Blind Date Band. Attendees were served a homemade German dinner prepared by Todd Powell, Tyler Baldwin, and Warren Aldrich, with assistance from Carol Baldwin, Kathy Seigars, and Tim Schloemer.

“We really lucked out with the weather, and the rain held off,” said Sheldon Pennoyer, chair of the FGCM. “The Friends of the Meetinghouse are so grateful for all our volunteers and for the support of the town and community, who always help us make this fundraiser for the Meetinghouse event a success.”

Participating vendors included Post and Beam of Peterborough, Black Cloud Brewing of Keene, Frogg Brewing of Swanzey, Mountain Base Brewery of Goffstown, Stark Brewing of Manchester, Henniker Brewing Company, and Summit Winery of Westmoreland. Monadnock Tent and Events, Delay’s Harvester Market, White Star Software, and Sheldon Pennoyer Architects sponsored the event.
