Save Democracy in America founder Dan McMillan will present ”Accountability: Paving the Way for Money in Politics Reform” Sunday, Aug 20, at noon during Hillsborough County Democrats annual picnic, Oak Park, 971 Forest Road, Greenfield.

Save Democracy in America is a nonpartisan organization to get big money out of politics. McMillan earned a doctorate in German history from Columbia University and a law degree from Fordham University. He has taught college-level history and prosecuted criminal cases for the district attorney’s office in Brooklyn. After several years researching a book about money in politics, he decided that direct political action is needed and launched his campaign for voter-owned elections.
