UpGray’d Quartet has been invited to perform the national anthem at the New Hampshire State House opening session in Concord on Thursday, April 23, at 9 or 10 a.m.
The quartet, known for its barbershop-style a cappella harmonies, is made up of members of the Keene Cheshiremen Chorus and has built a regional following through performances at community events and public gatherings across New Hampshire.
The invitation recognizes the group’s musical accomplishments and its contributions to local and civic events throughout the state.
“We are deeply honored to be invited to sing the National Anthem at the State House,” the quartet said in a statement. “It’s a privilege to share our music in such a historic and meaningful setting, and we look forward to representing our community with pride.”
The performance will take place during the official opening of the legislative session, a longstanding tradition in New Hampshire’s government. The quartet is expected to deliver the anthem in its signature four-part harmony.
UpGray’d Quartet continues to perform throughout the region. More information is available at www.UpGrayedQuartet.com.
