Adams Pool is officially closed for the season. For the rest of the summer season, there will be limited staffing at Cunningham Pond.
From Aug. 30 to Sept. 2, the gates to Cunningham Pond will be open but the pond will not be staffed.
From Sept. 3 through Sept. 5, lifeguards will be on duty from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m., and from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. for boat rentals. Kayaks and stand-up paddle boards can be rented for $5 an hour.
Pond stickers are still required and the police department will continue to patrol the area through Labor Day.
Nonresidents can pick up guest passes at the Peterborough Recreation Department office.
