ConVal Regional High School will host the annual New Student Day on Aug. 29. This program is for all incoming freshmen and transfer students.
Organized by Student Organization Unified in Leadership (S.O.U.L.), New Student Day offers students an opportunity to network with other students, meet their teachers, follow a shortened class schedule, meet their school counselors, and participate in orientation activities.
The schedule is as follows:
8 – 8:20 a.m.: Registration and Red Carpet Greeting
8:30 – 9 a.m.: Welcome and Opening Remarks
9:10 – 10:20 a.m.: TASC Groupings
10:25 – 12 p.m.: Mini Schedule of Classes
12– 12:30 p.m.: Lunch
12:35 – 1 p.m.: Meet with Your School Counselor
1 – 1:30 p.m.: Scavenger Hunt
1:45 p.m.: On the busses to go home
