It’s that time of year again! The weather is warming up and it’s time to dust off the clubs for a great time at the ninth annual Stephen Record Memorial Golf Tournament on May 28 at the world famous Shattuck golf course in Jaffrey.

The tournament will have a cash prize for first place and second- and third-place cash prizes drawn randomly. And anyone could win the hole in one contest, worth $10,000. The event will also have a Putt For Dough challenge, and prizes awarded for closest to the pin, as well as longest drive (men and women). Enjoy the atmosphere with friends and family, lunch provided at the turn, and of course, there are plenty of refreshments for all.

Anyone who wants to help should let organizers know. Donated door prizes, items for a silent auction, hole sponsors and volunteers are welcome.

Registration and payment can be made and donations offered through the website SCR21.org,

The Stephen Record Memorial is the primary fundraiser supporting two scholarships for Conant seniors who best embody Steve’s athleticism, commitment to academics, and willingness to give back to the community. To date, the Stephen Record Trust has given out over $35,000 in scholarships, as well as other causes supporting youth and nonprofit programs.
