Rain, snow, and cold temperatures were not enough to dampen Thursday for Yankee Publishing, as the company officially turned on its 93-kilowatt solar array.
“We are pleased to make this investment in solar energy, which will help reduce carbon dioxide emissions and generate savings for the company for years to come,” said Jamie Trowbridge, President and CEO of Yankee.
The company celebrated by plugging in an inflatable pumpkin.
