Local band Eyes of Age will perform a free concert on the Hancock common on July 16 as part of the Hancock Summer Concert series.
The performance will run from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. In the event of rain, the concert will move downstairs into the Hancock Meetinghouse.
Led by David Young on vocals and guitar and Susan Lang on vocals and percussion, the band performs an eclectic mix of original and cover songs, spanning folk/rock ballads, Americana and rock ‘n’ roll. For the hometown show, Young and Lang will be joined by bassist and vocalist Rob Clemens, guitarist Chris Albertson, vocalist and percussionist Cait Murphy, and Scott Heron on mandolin and banjo.
The Hancock Farmers and Artisans Market will also take place on the common from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m., offering food, beverages, baked goods, local produce and crafts.
