Directed by Dan Perkins, the concerts feature Howard Hansonโ€™s โ€œSong of Democracy,โ€ based on Walt Whitman poems, along with Frank Ticheliโ€™s โ€œEarth Song,โ€ Randall Thompsonโ€™s โ€œAlleluia,โ€ Irving Berlinโ€™s โ€œGive Me Your Tired, Your Poor,โ€ and Mari Esabel Valverdeโ€™s โ€œWhen Thunder Comes.โ€ Organist Rob St. Cyr will perform Charles Ivesโ€™ โ€œVariations on โ€˜America.โ€™โ€

The second half of the program commemorates the 25th anniversary of 9/11 with songs recounting the response of residents of Gander, Newfoundland, who assisted thousands of stranded airline passengers after U.S. airspace closed.

Tickets are available through the NH Master Chorale.
