The Mansfield Public Library will host apiarist Karen Crissey for an educational discussion on beekeeping at 6 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 22, at the Temple Town Hall.
Crissey, founder of Temple Mountain Honey, will share insights on hive management, bee biology, and local ecology. She will also display essential equipment used in her practice, including an empty hive, honeycomb, and various beekeeping tools.
Following the talk, Crissey will host a guided tour of her apiary on Saturday morning, Oct. 24, giving participants a firsthand look at an active hive setup.
