The Monadnock Conservancy has appointed Michael George and Tom Masland to its Board of Trustees, bringing extensive local land conservation experience to the regional organization.

George, a Jaffrey resident since 1997, is the owner of Gartenart USA and previously served as chair of the Jaffrey Conservation Commission, chair of the Board of Trustees of the Harris Center for Conservation Education, and a member of the Jaffrey Zoning Board of Adjustment.

Masland, a Peterborough resident and retired attorney, spent more than 30 years with Ransmeier and Spellman PC specializing in conservation real estate, trusts, and estates. He is a former board chair of the Concord (now Five Rivers) Conservation Trust and received the Society for the Protection of New Hampshire Forests’ President’s Award in 2024.
