Local specialty store Joseph’s Coat and the Mariposa Museum and World Culture Center are partnering to host a mid-week global artisan market.

The two-day event will run Wednesday, July 29, and Thursday, July 30, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

The market features handcrafted items and works from international artisans highlighting cultural traditions from around the globe. Featured items include embroidered cashmere shawls from Kashmir, India; hand-embroidered silk bedspreads and coats from Uzbekistan; hand-painted illustrations from Uzbekistan; fine silver filigree jewelry from Macedonia; handcrafted jewelry from Kyrgyzstan; and traditional decorated eggs from Ukraine.
