The Monadnock Summer Lyceum will host its third program of the season on Sunday, July 19, at 10:30 a.m. at the Peterborough Unitarian Universalist Church.
The presentation will feature a performance of traditional choral music from around the world by a teen ensemble from Village Harmony. The non-profit educational organization, which has organized teen and international music ensembles for more than 30 years, offers cultural exchange opportunities through non-auditioned community singing programs.
The ensemble is led by a trio of directors: Lysander Jaffe, a singer, violinist, and New England Conservatory graduate; Liam Kantor, an ethnomusicologist specializing in New England and Celtic fiddle music; and Lexi Ugelow, a vocalist, songwriter, and music educator.
Marybeth Hallinan, Director of Music Ministry at the church and long-time local music educator, will serve as the program’s moderator.
A reception will follow the performance starting at noon, offering attendees a chance to meet the musicians. The presentation is sponsored by the Waterhouse Restaurant, with Microspec Corporation serving as the 2026 season sponsor.
