Dublin’s Waste Reduction and Recycling Committee will host a community potluck supper on Wednesday, July 15, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the Dublin Community Center in celebration of Plastic Free July.
The event is free and open to the public. Attendees are asked to bring a dish to share, a beverage, and their own non-plastic place setting. Following the meal, organizers will share information on plastic-free alternatives and hold a brainstorming session on strategies to reduce single-use plastic at home and in local businesses.
Additionally, the town will host a Styrofoam collection day for Dublin residents on Saturday, July 25, at the Dublin Transfer Station.
For more information, visit the town’s website or contact the Dublin Community Center.
