The Jaffrey Civic Center will host “It’s for the Birds!,” a multi-week pastel class instructed by Maryann Mullett.
Sessions are held from noon to 3 p.m. Participants can register for either the Tuesday sessions on July 14, and 21, or the Thursday sessions on July 9, 15, and 23.
The class focuses on painting birds from various habitats and incorporating those environments into the composition. Participants must bring reference photos of their favorite birds, which Mullett will evaluate to help select the strongest composition. The program is open to beginners and advanced artists.
