The Dublin Community Center will host an opening reception on Friday, July 10, for “Fresh Perspectives in Pastel,” an exhibition showcasing the work of award-winning Peterborough artist Maryann Mullett.

The public reception will run from 5 to 7 p.m. at the center, also known as the DubHub, located at 1123 Main St.

Mullett, who has been named a Master Pastelist by both the Pastel Society of America and the International Association of Pastel Societies, draws inspiration from nature, wetlands and local farmers markets. Her paintings of animals, florals and still-life scenes have been featured nationally in museums and galleries, as well as locally in the Monadnock Art Tour and the League of New Hampshire Craftsmen’s Fair.

The exhibition opens Wednesday, July 8, and runs through Tuesday, July 30. Artwork will be available for viewing and purchase during standard regular hours or by appointment.
