Home Healthcare, Hospice & Community Services will host a summer barbecue luncheon on Tuesday, July 28, featuring appearances by the Keene SwampBats baseball team and their mascot, Ribby.
The event, part of the organization’s Friendly Meals program, will begin at noon at the Keene Senior Center, located at 312 Marlboro St.
The barbecue is open to all area residents age 60 and older. A $5 fee will be charged for guests under the age of 60.
The menu features chicken breast with Sweet Baby Ray’s BBQ sauce, beef sliders with tomato and cheese, pasta salad with vegetables, broccoli salad with bacon, chocolate chip cookies, water, and lemonade.
