Ingalls Memorial Library will kick off its Summer Reading Program with a performance by children’s musician and music therapist Miss Julieann Hartley on Tuesday, June 23, at 1:30 p.m. at the Rindge Meeting House, 6 Payson Hill Road.
Hartley is a board-certified music therapist, nature educator, author and illustrator whose work focuses on children’s mental health and wellness. Her album “Therapeutic Songs for Kids” received a Parents’ Choice Award in 2019, and her 2023 album “Resilient Child” is used by educators and families nationwide. In 2025, she appeared on the Grammy-winning children’s album “Brillo, Brillo” by Lucky Diaz and the Family Jam Band.
In addition to performing music for children, Hartley leads workshops on nature education, foraging and outdoor skills. Her children’s book, “There’s A Dinosaur At My Door,” will be released Oct. 3.
Children may register for the library’s Summer Reading Program at the event, at the library or online at ingallslibrary.com. While geared toward children, the program is open to all ages.
Attendees are asked to RSVP through the library’s online calendar. For information, call 603-899-3303.
