The Hancock Town Library will kick off its Summer Reading Program with a free family festival from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Saturday, June 20.
The Summer Reading Kick-off Festival will celebrate the start of summer and this year’s reading theme, “Plant a Seed: Read!”
Activities will include giant bubbles, face painting, seed planting, Erin Sweeney’s art table, visits to the library’s Fairy Garden and other family-friendly activities. In the event of rain, the program will be held indoors in the Daniels Room.
The festival is designed to welcome readers of all ages and launch the library’s summer reading activities.
No registration is required, and the event is free and open to the public.
