The Rindge Conservation Commission will host a guided pollinator walk on Sunday, June 21, at 1:30 p.m. at the Contoocook Marsh Conservation Complex in Rindge.

Participants will meet at the kiosk on County Road and join guides Carol Truesdell and Rob Rubendall for a walk along the conservation area’s easy trails. The program will focus on native plants that support bees, butterflies and other pollinators, as well as the role pollinators play in maintaining healthy ecosystems.

Attendees will learn how native plants provide food and habitat for pollinators and how local landscapes and gardens can help support these species.

The event is being held during National Pollinator Week and is open to the public.

The Rindge Conservation Commission oversees the protection of wetlands, lakeshores, watersheds and other natural resources in town and regularly hosts hikes, workdays and educational programs on conservation lands.
