Therese M. Pelletier

Greenville, NH – Therese Pelletier, 99, of Greenville, NH, passed away peacefully at the Jaffery Rehabilitation and Nursing Center on Sunday, May 31, 2026. She was born on May 30, 1927, in Greenville, NH to Edward and Eliza (LeClerc) Pelletier.

Therese was an accomplished, hard-working woman. She began her career as an executive secretary with the Greenville Mills. Therese gave up her work to care for her ailing mother and committed may years to her needs. Later on in life she worked as a machine operator at Millipore Sigma until retirement. Therese dedicated 80 years to the American Legion Auxiliary, including a stint in an aircraft watch tower during WW II. She was recently recognized for 80 consecutive years of service to the Auxiliary. She served many years in leadership roles including as president and secretary.

She was recognized as the oldest living person in Greenville and was scheduled to receive the Boston Post Cane award. Her hobbies included crocheting, knitting, puzzles, coloring books, and watching New England sports. Family members’ homes are adorned with her crochet and knitted works. Above all, she cherished time spent with her family and friends often seen on the sidelines cheering on her nieces and nephews at sporting events.

She is survived by her sister Laurette Lafreniere of Greenville, NH; and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brothers Ross, Laurent, Romeo and her sisters Areinna and Maggie.

In lieu of flowers consider a donation to the American Legion Auxiliary in Greenville.

Friends and family are warmly welcomed to join Therese’s services on Monday, June 8, 2026 at 11am, at Sacred Heart Church at 19 High St, Greenville, NH 03048. The burial will be held at the convenience of the family.
