The Town of Peterborough is advising residents that property tax bills mailed May 28 may take up to three weeks to arrive because of unusually long postal delivery delays.
Residents can view and pay their bills through the town’s online portal or visit the office in person Monday through Thursday from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Property tax bills are due July 1. Town officials noted that interest will begin accruing July 2 even if bills have not yet been delivered.
