Write in Amanda Allen
I encourage you all to write in Amanda Allen for Hillsborough District 33 State Representative for Peterborough and Sharon. I have known Amanda for almost two years now. With her volunteer work on our Town’s Affordable Housing Committee, Inclusive Community Committee, and the ad hoc Peterborough Together Alliance, I have watched her compassionate engagement with citizens of differing backgrounds, and you know what? They all matter to her.
Her extensive work and life experiences have given her the skills to listen, gather information, synthesize a plan of action and then implement. It is refreshing to see a selfless younger professional willing to serve her fellow citizens and work towards a better New Hampshire future for all. These are the characteristics needed in Concord to represent Peterborough and Sharon.
We’ve all watched Peter Leishman’s commitment to service over the years. I disagree with some of his votes, but he has been open to criticism and listens with compassion when it’s needed.
I have heard concerns about three candidates “splitting the vote” amongst them and one seat going to a “free stater,” and was worried myself, but the statistical analysis eliminates that concern.
The best solution in front of us is to write in Amanda Allen, fill in her bubble and fill in Peter Leishman’s bubble for the win.
