American Legion Bent-Burke Post No. 10 members and local veterans took part in the Lyndeborough Memorial Day observance held Sunday, May 24, inside Citizensโ€™ Hall. Retired Army veterans Kenneth Fletcher and Richard Herfurth of the Wilton Bent-Burke Color Guard placed the flags to open the ceremony.

During the observance, Fletcher, readers Kimber Crosby and Dylan Ospina, and Lafayette Artillery Company members Capt. Walter Holland and Pvt. Karen Holland saluted the flag as Boy Scouts led the Pledge of Allegiance.
