ConVal dropped a 17-5 decision to Laconia on Thursday despite collecting six hits offensively.
Chloe Hamlin led the Cougars at the plate with two singles. Annabelle added a double and drove in three runs, while Kinley Moore, Mae Hagelberg and Brianna Mattson each contributed a single.
Mae Hagelberg pitched the first three innings for ConVal, and Moore worked the final three innings in relief.
The Cougars fell to 11-4 on the season and will close out their regular-season home schedule Friday against Bow.
Merrimack Valley
ConVal traveled to Merrimack Valley on Wednesday and came away with an 8-3 victory.
The Cougars collected 13 hits offensively, led by Chloe Hamlin with a double and two singles. Annabelle added three singles, while Kinley Moore chipped in two singles. Sydney Borges, Opale Barrick, Mae Hagelberg, Brianna Mattson and Maddy Guay each added a hit.
Borges also earned the win in the circle, pitching all seven innings while striking out eight and allowing just two hits. ConVal backed her with solid defense throughout the game.
The Cougars improved to 11-3 and will travel to Laconia on Thursday.
