The Antrim Recycling Team and Station, or A.R.T.S., announced the temporary closure and relocation of the Swap Shop at the town Transfer Station to accommodate site improvements.
The Board of Selectmen approved the purchase of a 20-foot-by-8-foot storage container to house the Swap Shop. At the same time, changes are made to improve emergency access, traffic flow and material storage at the facility.
According to A.R.T.S., the new Swap Shop site will be located near the Transfer Station exit. The Swap Shop and donation boxes are expected to be moved within the next month or two.
The Swap Shop will remain temporarily closed during the reorganization process.
