ANTRIM

On Saturday, May 23, American Legion Meyers-Prescott-Olson Post 50 will host a Fun Walk and Run 5K followed by an All American Craft Fair at the Legion building, 7 West St., Antrim. Registration for the walk and run starts at 7:30 a.m. and is $20 for adult non-Legion members. Run and walk start at 8 a.m. Craft fair is from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. and will include bakers, jewelers, artists woodworking and “white elephant table.”

Memorial Day Events. The Meyers-Prescott-Olson American Legion Post 50 Color Guard will assemble at 8:00 am on Monday, May 25th. The guard will process to North Branch cemetery at 8:15 a.m. and to Maplewood Cemetery at 8:45 for ceremonies.

Antrim’s Memorial Day Parade will line up on Jameson Ave and start onto Summer Street at 9:30 a.m. on Monday, May 25. The parade will progress to Goodell Road and place wreaths at Tuttle Library, the Civil War Memorial at the Baptist Church, and to Memorial Park. All are welcome to participate and attend.

BENNINGTON

Bennington veterans will assemble at Memorial Field at 10:30 on Monday, May 25, and process to cemeteries at 10:45 a.m. Participants in the Memorial Day Parade should gather at at VFW at 11:15 a.m. to step off at 11:30 a.m. Wreaths will be placed on the bridge, the Civil War monument on Main Street, and at Dodge Library. The parade will return to the VFW to be dismissed. All are welcome.

DUBLIN

Dublin’s annual Memorial Day parade starts at 11:00 a.m. on Monday , May 25 at the Yankee Publishing parking lot and will process to the cemetery for laying of wreaths. All Dublin residents are encouraged to attend.

FRANCESTOWN

The American Legion Post 50 Color Guard will meet at Francestown Elementary School at 1:00 p.m to form a parade, and will start walking to the 2nd NH Turnpike cemetery at 1:30 p.m for a Memorial Day ceremony. The theme of this year’s ceremony is America’s 250th. In case of inclement weather, the ceremony will take place in the gym at FES. All are welcome.

GREENFIELD

On Sunday, May 24th, the American Legion Post 50 Color Guard will assemble at the war memorial at Stephenson Library at 11:00 a.m for a wreath laying, process to the Greenvale Cemetery on Route 31, and will conclude at the World War II memorial stone at the camper’s beach at Greenfield State Park. Are all welcome.

GREENVILLE

Join the American Legion Post 13 for Memorial Day Observances and events on Monday, May 25. There will be cemetery services at 10:30 a.m. at Pleasant Streeet (Route 31 entrance), 11 a.m. at Sacred Heart Church on High Street. At 2 p.m., there will be a parade, starting at Dunster Avenue and marching down Main Street to the bridge for a short ceremony, then onto the war monuments for a short ceremony. The parade is followed by a community barbecue at the Legion Pavilion. All are welcome.

HANCOCK

Hancock’s annual Memorial Day ceremony is 2:00 p.m. on the common in front of the Town Hall. All are welcome. The Great Brook Middle School band will play.

JAFFREY

The Jaffrey Memorial Day Parade begins at 10:30 a.m. on May 25, on Main Street, traveling to the Memorial Park for a ceremony.

Parade participants are invited to enjoy a hamburger or hot dog after the parade at the American Legion, 20 Webster St. Jaffrey.

LYNDEBOROUGH

On Sunday, May 24, there will be a Memorial Day Parade at 1 p.m. The parade begins at the Lyndeborough Central School, and marches to the Memorial Park in the town center. Following the parade, there will be a ceremony in Memorial Park and a firing of the cannon.

NEW IPSWICH

On May 17, the morning Memorial Day Parade will begin at 9 a.m., at Goen Road and marching to the South Cemetery for ceremonies.

The afternoon parade will begin at 1 p.m., beginning at the New Ipswich Congregational Church and marching to the Center Cemetery for observances, and then reforming and marching to Memorial Field for further observances.

PETERBOROUGH

Peterborough will hold its Memorial Day observance Monday, May 25. Veterans and participants will gather at 8:30 a.m. at Veteransโ€™ Way next to Bellows-Nichols before a Sea Service ceremony at the library bridge at 8:45 a.m., assisted by the United States Sea Cadets Monadnock Squadron. The parade will then continue to the Veterans Memorial Gates for a ceremony featuring speaker John Franklin, music by the American Heritage Girls and the return of the ConVal School Band under the direction of Jonnie Treadeau. The event begins around 9 a.m. at the gates and will be held rain or shine, moving to the Peterborough Town House if necessary.

RINDGE

On May 25, the town will hold a Memorial Day Parade at 1 p.m. at the Rindge Town Common. Before the parade will be a luncheon on the common for parade participants and townspeople, from 12 p.m. to 1 p.m., along with music at the gazebo.

TEMPLE

On May 31, Temple will hold a parade on the Town Common at noon, with a concert by the Temple Band at 2 p.m., and a luncheon in the Town Hall.

WILTON

Memorial Day observances will be held on May 25, at 9 a.m. with a parade. The parade will start at the American Legion, travel to Main Street, pause for ceremonies at the War Monuments, then continue down Main Street and return to the American Legion.
