The Northeast Delta Dental Foundation has awarded a $15,000 grant to Crotched Mountain Foundation to expand access to dental care for low-income adults with disabilities and chronic health conditions.
The funding will support clients served by Crotched Mountain Community Care, which provides case management for individuals enrolled in New Hampshireโs Choices for Independence waiver program. Case managers help coordinate services that allow clients to live independently in their communities.
Officials said the grant will help cover critical oral health needs for clients who often face barriers to care, including lack of insurance or financial resources. For some, the funding may be their only option for dental treatment.
Kara Nickulas, executive director of adult programs for Crotched Mountain Foundation, said the organization is grateful for the continued partnership.
Jennifer Beyer, senior manager of corporate giving at Northeast Delta Dental, said the foundation aims to reduce barriers that can lead to serious dental issues.
The Northeast Delta Dental Foundation has previously supported dental services for clients of Crotched Mountain Community Care.
