High Mowing School held its annual May Day festival on April 25 at its high school campus, welcoming community members for a celebration of spring.

The event, which ran from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., featured traditional Maypole dancing, local artisans and a variety of community activities.

Organizers described the festival as a family-friendly gathering marking the arrival of spring. In addition to performances, attendees enjoyed games, music and food, consistent with past celebrations.
