A presentation on local food pantries will be held Saturday, March 28, at 3 p.m. at the Hancock Town Library.
โYour Local Food Pantries at Workโ will highlight the efforts of food pantries serving Antrim and Peterborough. Representatives from both organizations will discuss how the pantries operate and ways community members can help support their work.
According to event organizers, one in seven households in New Hampshire struggles with food insecurity. The talk will address how pantries assist seniors and disabled veterans on fixed incomes, families facing layoffs, and children who may go without adequate meals.
The program is free and open to the public.
