The Park Theatre will present the seventh annual St. Patrick’s Parade and fifth annual Shamrock Fest March 12 through 17 in Jaffrey.
The parade steps off at 2 p.m. Sunday, March 15, from St. Patrick’s Parish, 89 Main St., proceeding east along Main Street past the theatre. A weather date is March 22. Participants include the New Hampshire Pipes and Drums, Hill’s Bandwagon of Vermont, The Flying Irish Dancers, 1st NH Regiment Revolutions, 6th NH Regiment, Keene American Legion Band and bagpiper Mark Polifrone. Festival events begin March 12 with screenings of “Excalibur” and “Riverdance 25.” Comedian Jimmy Dunn performs March 13, and Ishna appears March 14. Parade Day features The Grateful Dads at noon and a 3 p.m. screening of “Darby O’Gill and The Little People.” Tickets are $10 and $9 for ages 12 and younger.
A Limerick Slam with a $150 prize is set for 7 p.m. March 17. Details: theparktheatre.org.
